Grand Prize winner of 2017 Song writing competition, Matthew Cine exposed to music at a young age Matthew’s Haitian father was a professional pianist who encouraged his son's love for jazz, Gospel and soul music. Matthew’s primary instruments are the Tenor and soprano saxophone as well as the piano. 2014 was the year Matthew was introduced to the arts of songwriting and music production by longtime friend and business partner Patrick Georges. Since then he has been in infatuated with art of music production and songwriting. Matthew and Patrick have been in a joint venture as music production team. Since then Matthew has worked exclusively with many different local artist in South Florida and Philadelphia area.
Started his audio career in the early 2000's working in the Miami area recording the diverse styles that happen in a city thats such a melting pot. During that time an opportunity to work on a Bad Boy project put him on a fast track that led to him working with artist's such as Mary J Blige, Lenny Kravitz and Lauryn Hill. Eventually he would land a position as head engineer for super producer Salaam Remi. This new position brought a wider range of projects from Nas and Cee-Lo to major motion picture work for Rush Hour and Sex and the City. Along the way came 5 grammy nominations and several gold and platinum plaques. He currently operates his own studio while working with the future of audio at the SAE Miami campus
Curt Parks is a Graduate of University of Miami with a Master's Degree in Music Business. Curt most recently earned his diploma in Audio Technology from SAE Institute. When he is not manipulating air pressure and having fun with frequencies, he enjoy's studying history and investing in real estate. His greatest musical influence is Andre 3000.
Raul, a Full Sail Alumni and former audio engineer at Orlando’s Walt Disney World, joined SAE in 2017. His eight-year FL Studio experience has allowed him to showcase the Digital Audio Workstation in various platforms, including SAE seminars and IMSTA FESTA Miami. Raul’s passion for music production drives him to teach others the vast potential of FL Studio. Join him as he explains FL Studio’s new features, tricks, and tips.
Bass Music Producer, Mixing & Recording Engineer, LED Programmer, & Sr. Audio Visual Tech. Originally from Puerto Rico, Wolvsun has called Miami home for the past 5 years. After playing a few music festivals and opening for many of the industries biggest names, he has put himself on the map as a serious player in the future of dance music & bass community in South Florida.
David Andris is a Juno nominated audio engineer living and working in South Florida. He has worked for Obie Trice, Bone Crusher, Rezza Brothers, Walter Orange (original member of the commodores), and Maestro Fresh Wes. David was the national product specialist for Melodyne from 2007-2011, during that time he recorded two tutorial videos for MacProVideo.com. David is currently the Campus Director at SAE Miami.
Casey Stevens is a touring DJ/Producer with over 20 years experience in the industry, Electronic Music Record Label Owner and Operator, and Focusrite Novation Product Specialist Manager. John DiNicola is an Audio Engineer, Guitar Playing Musician, and Focusrite Novation Product Specialist with 10 years' experience in the industry.
Artist, Musician, Songwriter, Life-Coach and Motivational Speaker, are just a few of the words that describe Derrick Floyd. If you ask him, he is a constant work in progress. By day, he is the National Sales and Product Specialist Manager for the ground breaking music technology company, IK Multimedia who is one of the leaders in making professional software tools for musicians, producers and engineers all over the world. Also being the pioneers of mobile recording revolution with the invention of the iRig family of portable recording products has given Derrick a front roll seat at the helm of the constant evolving world of creative music technology products. By night, he is the executive director of The Beautiful Now Project. A company founded on the principles of using all forms of digital media, Music, Video, etc. to Uplift, Encourage and Inspire those around us to be their best version of themselves. He believes that in order to truly change the world, we have to start with offering the world the best of ourselves, creating and living in the space we were designed to be, and giving THAT to our jobs, family, and friends, then we will change the world for the better, one person at a time.
Ivan Corraliza professionally known as ill Factor has been producing music for more than fifteen years working on projects such as; Matis Yahu, Justin Timberlake, Skylar Grey, Ginuwine, Kelly Rowland, Kevin Rudolf, Cher, Cody Simpson, Cobra starship, Jared Evan, Jason Durelo, Jessie J, Natasha Bedinfield, Daniel Bedinfield, Groove Armada, Calvin Harris, Roisin Murphy, Howie D(Back Street Boys), Jordan Knight(New Kids On The block), Kate Moss, Songs featured on Pete Tong's BBC radio show, and that is just to name a few.
Born in the Bronx NY and raised in Brooklyn, NY, Shareef (Azteknique aka TekMaschine) Islam, started out as a dancer/choreographer. In the late 80’s early 90’s when hip hop and dance music was at its best. He went on to perform and work with artist such as Paula Abdul, Jody Wately, Heavy D, Sybil, Color Me Badd, Kid N Play just to name a few. Now with his own production company Azteknique Productions LLC. And label HipSoul Entertainment Inc. Shareef plans on bringing a new sound and vybe to the entertainment game. HipSoul is the sound!
Joshua is a veteran of the North American DJ scene and was an early adopter of the DVS (digital vinyl system) format in 2004. His forward thinking allowed him to experience the evolution of Traktor DJ software and hardware first -hand. This also equipped him with a deep understanding of the system and created the opportunity for him to work directly with Native Instruments as a beta tester and now product specialist. An expert in his field, he is responsible for training artists and presenting at workshops around the country. Along with his technical knowledge, he brings to the table an undeniable passion for DJ culture that spans over two decades.
Bill Collins is a Chicago-based music producer, educator and product specialist for MAGIX Software who has been actively performing and producing music for over 20 years. His music can be heard on several major television networks and is published by Sony/ATV and Universal Music Publishing Group. Bill is also the Editor for The Pro Audio Files, and served as Course Director for the Los Angeles Film School from 2010-2017.
